A modest group of 8 attended the inaugural meet of JUGHS this evening. The group decided to kick off promotional campaign for Joomla! with workshops being conducted every saturday.

The workshop will be approximately of 1 hour duration and covers

a) Intro about CMS, and Joomla!

b) Some popular extensions

c) Examples of how Joomla! has been used in various areas

The workshop is conducted for free, subject to one criteria

a) A minimum audience of 100 students if at a college, and a minimum audience of 10 if at a business or corporate

Next saturday, the workshop will be conducted at Satyam Learning Campus's Institute of Engineering and Technology.
